Some of you may know that I am a HUGE must wear pink everyday during the month of October.  I admire and respect any cancer survivor...I think about my other momma (my guy's mom) everyday still though it's been a few years.  She was an amazing artist and jack of all art trades.  Most importantly she taught me to be courageous.   

This is a Pink Ribbon Rose. Part of delicate pieces inspired by hope and joy. This style is tight in the middle with symmetrical patterned petals, with a single color of layering and folding the satin looped petals around the center. Day 120 - New Studio

Mood: Excited 

Sounds: Just the fan blowing and me typing...still 

Hellloooo!

Today I start at my new studio!  I'm super excited and a bit nervious though.  Just wanted to say thank you for those of you whom I know have kept me in your good thoughts n prayers.  Everything seems to be getting right on track.  With official physical therapy ending, at home continuing three times a day, my next shoulder dr visit not till September!! I'm beyond thankful.  The spiffy drs say I shouldn't have healed or progressed so fast...that I am a poster child of healing after surgery.  I could not have done it without your support.

Day 118 - Tria & Dio

How are you all! I've missed you and making flowers.   I received some new ribbon for my birthday and got a little excited.   Ideas are popping out like crazy. Today, has two different pieces.  One is a pattern! First attempt at that...let me know what you guys think!  

My Inspirations for today:

This is an Dio Rose! Part of the ten day collection of delicate tattered pieces...this is number two. This style is tight in the middle with asymmetrical patterned petals, with a double color of layering and folding the satin looped petals around the center into a grosgrain, then melted to create depth and a firm edge. Made of a blue and black plaid ribbon, grosgrain and satin black ribbons with a grouping of three silver sleek pearl beads. This specific rose measures 4 inches.  Find it here on Etsy!

This is an Tria Rose! Part of the ten day collection of delicate tattered pieces...this is number three. This style is loosely wound in the middle with even asymmetrical patterned petals, with a single color layered and folded. The satin looped petals are looped around the center with a single ribbon, then melted to create depth and a firm edge. Made of a chocolate brown satin ribbon with a grouping of three sleek pearl beads peeking through. This specific rose measures 3.5 inches.  You can find it here!

How are you guysngals? Just a quick note...SO it's official! I'm going to be back at the work...as seasonal for Father's Day.  :-S but that's all they have with my workstatus restrictions.  Not much anyone can do about it.  It's less pay but hopefully the workcomp will help with that. Thank you to everyone who has helped me emotionally, mentally and spiritually with this healing. . .it's far from done, but I know it will end in the most positive way for my life.  Photowise: done with one of my photo projects...now just the rest! >.< I'm gonna need an energy drink mixed with oj. . .or a case of em.  Hey, Ma! wanna go to walmart to get a redbull and oj?! hehehe. <3 you!

Day 26 & 27 - Design A Day - Pente & Tessera

Hello! 

I have been working on a surprise for you guys...Yet to figure it out completely, but I will prevail!! Either way still working on my 10 day countdown in greek...started with Decca and nooooow on to Pente & Tessera.  Pente makes me think of a board game that my Aunt Kate handmade a board for us crazy kids. Lol.  I miss you Aunt Kate!!! <3 

Painwise this weekend was a rough one, I'm just plowing through trying to nap/watch hulu and get through the next 5 min...then the next hour until it's time for more med.  Hopefully this nausea will help me lose weight! That would be a very positive outcome of this nonsense. 

I'm kinda sad about my last day...after all the goodbye/birthday parties I've thrown at work...I got nothing.  Just wanted me out of the way.  Feels like I've traded my heart, soul, sweat, tears, relationship, hope, energy, my family, last 4.5 years of my life into a company who didn't appreciate or want me once I got hurt(actual accident after 9 days of 12 hrs straight. I fell.)...chewed me up and spit me out. The only things I miss are the creating of portraits that make parents cry of raw emotion and hug me! The mini children who hug me and say they will come back soon to play catch with a balloon...(to help the parents have a chance to think.) And teaching someone photography and have them lightbulb moment and then have their customer parents cry of joy. sigh.) ON TO HAPPY THOUGHTS...sorry guys that was long (<3)!

Afternoon guys! Yesterday I failed epically...and forgot to actually post my rose.  "Okto" . . . sorry guys!!! I <3 you!!!  Opposite the fire is ice...these photos are my inspiration for this rose.
