Day 19 - Design A Day - Ennea!

Mood: Peaceful
Sounds: One Way Out Show

My inspiration visual for today! Fire! FUN! Thank you Lisa!

This is an Ennea Rose!  I am super excited because today is day two of my collection of delicate tattered pieces.  There will be ten different styles and colors. This style is tight in the middle with even mostly symmetrical patterned petals, with four different colors of laying and a satin looped petals around the center then melted to a firm edge. Made of yellow, orange, crimson satin ribbons with bit of gold sheer ribbon around the center which has a black sleek pearl bead. You can find it ON ETSY! There is no more of the gold ribbon so this is a ONE time sale.

As always let me know what you guys think!  <3 for the followers and facebook likers! :-)

Day 18 - Design A Day - Decca!

Mood:   Ouch.

Sounds: Morgan Page

Hello! I barely squeaked one in today! This weekend was packed with business to try and keep focus on LunaNora during the week.  I did manage to put up a facebook for LunaNora so LIKE & SHARE AWAY! :-D I ended up at the DMV today...for 3 hours.  Positive outcome.  Yay!  Though it was right in the middle of my normal design alone time.  >.<  So I spent the evening workin away and came up with this...I am thrilled because today's design is the start of a collection of delicate tattered pieces of hairclips.  There will be ten different styles and colors total. The "Decca" Rose has a style that is tight in the middle with even mostly symmetrical patterned petals and a sheer billowy light petals around the center then melted to a firm edge. Made of a yellow satin ribbon with black sheer ribbon around, the center has a black sleek pearl bead.

You guys can find it here: Click Here! Please let me know what you guys think!  Just so everyone knows, some on the site are ready and available until I run out of that roll of ribbon.  Even if I sell it I will renew the posting on Etsy, as long as I can still create it.  :-) See you guys tomorrow!

Day 15 - Design A Day - Aneko & Aiko

Mood: Busy Minded

Sounds: Gaelic Storm

Afternoon!
First I HAVE 5 FOLLOWERS! ZOMG!!!!! :-)
I was super productive today, I think I have either gotten used to the meds or today was just an amazingly good day.  No dizziness and I have a clean living room, a new 9 square cubie unit, 4 less boxes in my living room, my kitchen more organized!

My roses are sisters today.  I would love to see them bought as such! This is an "Aneko" Rose! "Aneko" is Japanese for "Older Sister".   The pair was inspired by my relationship with my younger sister.  I feel like the older sister has lost some petals..to carve away a path for the younger to follow, hence the lack of extreme detail in the design.  The "Aneko" design style is tight in the middle with loose petals. Made of a spring pink satin ribbon with tiny slightly fuzzy white polkadots scattered, the center has a silver sleek pearl bead. You can find it on Etsy here..

This is an Aiko Rose! Aneko is Japanese for "Little Loved One".  The "Aneko" still is blooming and is as beautiful as she grows.  This style is much tighter in the middle with even mostly symmetrical patterned petals. Made of a spring pink satin ribbon with tiny slightly fuzzy white polkadots scattered, the center has a silver sleek pearl bead.  You can find it here...

Thanks for reading, sharing thoughts and I hope you enjoy my designs.

Day 14 - Design A Day - Isla & Yana

Mood: Calm
Sounds: Mythbusters Alcatraz

Hello!  Today I was calmed and inspired by my entry earlier today.   I did need to take a quick break and breath outside.  Thank you Mayhap! Shoulder update: the meds kicked my booty I could not walk much this am.  It's the dizziness. . . ugg.  Upside to things that happened today, I have a total of 4 followers! Hello!!!! I also got my second customer!  Very exciting...still and that was a few hours ago!!!  So today I made two roses of the order. Hopefully she like them, as much as I do!  Also going to put the designs up on Etsy and if anyone would like more spring flavored Roses let me know!  I'm truly in love with "Isla" it's a totally new design style.  It's inspired by this morning's sunrise.  The new style is as follows..tight in the center and SUPER loose folding in the middle to tight again on the edging. Please let me know what you guys think!  Made of a canary yellow satin ribbon , with a black sleek pearl bead. Find it here: Isla Ribbon Rose

This rose is a classic beginning style of mine just expanded to make a larger rose. I adore this one as well.  It's a classic "flower".  Made with an orange single strand satin ribbon, with traditional ribbon rose folding and a silver pearl bead center. Find it here: Yana Ribbon Rose

Day 14 - Etsy Success Challenge: What's Your Biggest Strength?

Mood: Calm, Inspired, Peaceful
Sounds: Complete Silence

On Etsy!

Thank you daniellexo! This was a definitely challenge and a great way to start my morning... working in the past for a corporation this positive thinking was mostly outdated and rarely used.  I *AM* an amazing lister..so I look forward to using this topic in other areas big and small of my crazy life.  With so much positive energy..my answer:

Thank you Etsy! It is currently saved as my background on my phone and to my desktop, for when I start to go down on myself...even a little, there really is no reason to.  :-)

Day 13 - Design A Day - Lisa

Mood: Super Excited/Proud
Sounds:  Jesse Cook  Pandora Radio Station

Good Evenin! Today was exciting and exausting...on the shoulder side my arm hurts like crazy!  I woke up and decided that I HAD to wash my hair right now this second.  So in typical Juba fashion I carefully taped ziploc baggies to my shoulder and drowned my hair in totally twisted: with wild cherry and jewel orchid.  mmmmm. I felt so much better after mentally but so not physically...I thought it was going to fall off.  I went and made something for me. . .personal and pretty.  I took a pair of earrings and took them apart making them into a single charm. Added ribbon and melted the edges and knots to create a slipknot so I can easily take it on and off.  I adore it! I think it will be my charm bracelet.  I have tons of charms and no actual bracelet... The second piece is a keychain that could be a possible his/her thing much later.  It's got a single knot of ribbon also melted completely to not come off.  I would have to find more of these charms...thoughts?

The DESIGN OF THE DAY is super special to me.  It's inspired by a lady who prolly doesn't know how much she did impacted my childhood.  There are many strong women who were amazing role models for me, who showed me that it was possible to grow and become a merry, honest and kind lady no matter what obstacles...as long you can dream it, you can do it.  No matter how small or huge the goal.  So...thank you, from the bottom of my <3... to lisa: my memory of you has you running around with a million ribbons flying from your hair and outfit! :-)

This rose is unique not only in color, but also has THREE different ribbons.  There is one sheer, and two satin strands with a silver pearl bead in the core.  Very much inspired and with the different sides to the namesake.  You can find it here on my Etsy Shop!  These photos today were taken by Nate a new photographer, my little brother, and maybe protege? See more here.

Thanks for reading and I hope you share with a friend!
